In most cases, you can apply makeup straightaway, and return to your daily activities the same day. Your practitioner will advise you to stay out of direct sunlight for a few days after treatment and apply sun screen.

Patients usually report an improvement in their dry eye signs and symptoms after their second or third treatment. Four sessions with two to four weeks in between are typically needed to achieve optimum results.
