Do I need surgery to remove a small eyelid lump, growth or area of excess skin?
Small eyelid and periocular lesions can be irritating, cosmetically noticeable or simply something patients have learned to live with because they assume removal will involve cutting, stitches or a theatre procedure.
For carefully selected benign lesions, PLEXR® Plus can provide another option. Using highly controlled plasma energy, very small areas of tissue can be treated with precision, often in the clinic and without a conventional surgical incision.
The same technology can also be used for selected patients with eyelid skin laxity or dermatochalasis, offering a non-surgical approach to eyelid tightening when conventional blepharoplasty is not required.
