Kate is a highly skilled and compassionate registered nurse who recently joined Eye Clinic London after relocating from Hong Kong, where she built an impressive career spanning over six years in various medical specialties, including renal dialysis, geriatrics, and intensive care. A graduate of Tung Wah College with a Bachelor of Health Science in Nursing, Kate further advanced her expertise with a Master’s degree in Clinical Stroke and Neurosciences from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, alongside specialized training in renal nursing.
Bringing her wealth of experience to our team, Kate has transitioned into her role as a Patient Adviser and Clinical Nurse at Eye Clinic London. As the first point of contact for our patients, she uses her compassion, patience, and extensive clinical knowledge to ensure a warm and reassuring experience from the outset. Her dedication to patient-centered care extends into the theatre, where she supports patients during procedures, making them feel comfortable and well cared for. She is now training to scrub for surgeries, allowing her to assist Mr. Hamada directly during operations, offering patients continuity of care and a sense of security throughout their surgical journey.
Beyond her professional achievements, Kate’s passion for scuba diving and hiking has helped her develop essential skills such as teamwork and adaptability—qualities she applies to her interactions with patients and colleagues. Whenever patients face stressful or difficult moments, Kate takes the time to listen to their concerns, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and comfortable throughout their experience.
With her international perspective, medical expertise, and genuine dedication to patient welfare, Kate is an invaluable member of the Eye Clinic London team.
