Certain metabolic disorders such as galactosaemia and Lowe syndrome have been associated with congenital cataracts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trauma during pregnancy or childbirth.
